A Note from Lyn Rose
Writing has been my way to heal after surviving violence and abuse. It’s how I reclaim my strength, piece by piece. Every character I create carries that same fierce power—rising from darkness, owning their scars, and fighting for their own story.
If you’ve ever felt broken but found a way to keep going, you’re not alone. My hope is that through these stories, you see your own strength reflected back—and know you have the power to rise again.
LYN ROSE
Lyn Rose is a Brisbane-based author writing across two worlds: dark paranormal romance for adults and imaginative children’s books for young readers.
Her romance work is seductive and gritty, filled with fantasy, supernatural politics, forbidden power, and fated bonds.
Her upcoming novel, Obsidian Kiss, launches The Sixth Accord series — a dark fantasy romance of desire, danger, and a heroine who refuses to be tamed. These stories explore passion, resilience, and the messy beauty of falling apart before rising again.
Alongside her fantasy novels, Lyn is building a children’s literature portfolio that includes picture books and middle grade adventures. Her titles include Mokie’s Adventures (Mokie the Silly Sausage Dog), The World Is Too Loud, and Down Under: A Journey Through Australia, with new works on the way such as When Stories Take Flight, Wings of the Lost Sky (middle grade fantasy), and What Leo Saw. These children’s stories celebrate imagination, belonging, and creativity, giving young readers hope, humor, and heart.
As a mother of eight, including three sons with learning disabilities, Lyn has seen firsthand how stories can comfort, inspire, and empower children. This dual passion — for creating fierce, resilient heroines in romance and joyful, inclusive adventures for kids — defines her writing.
Her portfolio is open for literary representation and publishing opportunities across both adult romance and children’s books.
When she isn’t writing, you’ll find her lifting heavy things, swearing at technology, or plotting her next book with a glass of wine and a dangerously full notebook.
Every story is personal. Every book is a rebellion. And every word — whether dark or light — is for readers who know that imagination, desire, and resilience are never enemies.
